Gym
I try to work out about 4 times per week - the physical health benefits are obviously nice, but I think the mental wellbeing benefits far outweigh those. The routine and consistency are comforting, and pushing myself and seeing my progress is rewarding. I’ve lost count of how many tough decisions I’ve made after clearing my head in the gym

Playlists.
Music is one of my favourite parts of working out. My gym tends to play good music, but not the kind of music I want to work out to.. So I rely on these playlists I’ve made to motivate my workouts

Tracking.
I spent years going to the gym without tracking my lifts; doing whatever exercises I fancied when I got the gym, and relying on my memory to decide what weight to lift
When I eventually started tracking my lifts, I was just using Notes which was awkward at best. I now use Liftin’ to track my workouts; it’s made by an indie developer, utilises lots of great iOS features, has a native-feeling design and has a companion WatchOS app too
