What I've been playing.
I’ve been really enjoying what Apple Arcade has to offer, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how fun it is to play games on my iPad. I jumped into Dead Cells+ this month - I’ve got Dead Cells on Switch already, but I wanted to try the Castlevania DLC and it’s included free on Apple Arcade so 🤷♂️. It’s not an easy game to play with touch controls, so I picked up the 8BitDo Ultimate controller and it’s soooo much more fun to play!
What I've been watching.
I’m now 5 seasons into Suits, the furthest I’ve ever got. I’m still really enjoying the series, especially now that everything I’m seeing is new to me. Somehow I’ve managed to stay almost completely spoiler free!
Originally prompted by Netflix’s threat of removing it at the end of July, I’ve started watching Yu-Gi-Oh too - although the threat was minimised when I realised it’s all on Crunchyroll anyway… I watched a bit of it as a kid so it’s been quite nostalgic so far
What I've been reading.
I’ve wanted to pick up Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow for a little while as I’d heard good reviews but I either couldn’t find it in store, or, if I did find it, wasn’t in the mood right there and then. Anyway, I went into an independent bookstore - you know, the ones that smell like new books 😌 - and it was right there on the table in the entrance. If I’m honest, the smell in that moment was at least 80% of the reason I picked it up.. I’m only a few pages in so far, but it seems like it’ll be a good read
